Bilborough Arts aims to engage the whole community, from babies to those in their 90s. Established in 2016 to organise an annual arts festival, we bring together artists, community groups and schools in Bilborough, Nottingham. We love making and facilitating these connections between groups and strengthening Bilborough’s sense of community. This is an on-going aspect of BArts – as new connections and further projects grow out of the festival.
We are proud that the Festival encourages and nurtures local people to exhibit their art – showing amateur and professional artists side by side. We believe that art is for everybody and creativity takes many forms – and so we incorporate music, heritage, visual arts, photography, performance and spoken word events in our festival activities.
