Welcome

Thank you to everyone involved in Bilborough Arts 2023!

We opened the Festival with a free family fun day at Bilborough Library and were joined by the amazing Robin Hood Youth Orchestra who performed in the Pelican Pub Car park.

Throughout the day, there were free family workshops, including sewing, clay, zine-making and macrame bracelets. Thanks to Cats Protection and Read on Nottingham for your stalls, and author and artist Rebecca Buxton for joining us for the first time and showing us how to make flip books.  We loved Paul Crawforth's rug-making demo too.

Thank you to the young performers from Jubilee School, Lit Youth Theatre and Lit Young Company, and Casey Francis for the soundscape workshop. You were all inspirational.

The Jazz Cafe took place at St Martins on Sunday 25th for a lovely afternoon of music; and you can catch the local Artists exhibition in Bilborough Library until Thursday.

Thank you to the local schools for taking part - showcasing your childrens' creativity and celebrating
our wonderful community!

Bilborough Arts is an annual arts festival, usually taking place in the last week of June.

Local groups, artists and residents organise events, workshops and performances.

We have a small team who organise events for the annual festival (meeting once a month from Jan - June), and a wider network of community groups and organisations who get involved each year to help us promote creative opportunities across Bilborough.

If you have some time to give and would like to support the Arts Festival to grow and thrive, please volunteer with us!

Bilborough Arts is a voluntary association of artists, residents and community groups coming together to increase access to creative opportunities.

All welcome to get involved in our annual celebration of community and creativity!
